The Roosevelt, Coeur d' Alene's oldest remaining schoolhouse, is where John attended elementary school. Now John and his wife Tina call The Roosevelt home. They welcome you to come and experience this grand, 4-story, red brick building and the awesome beauty that surrounds it along Lake Coeur d' Alene; which has been recognized by National Geographic as one of the top five most beautiful lakes in the world.

"The Roosevelt" is listed on The National Register of Historical Places and is recognized as a Historic Inn of America. Each room is furnished elegantly with turn-of-the-century antiques, which lends a feeling of nostalgia to this early American landmark.
